Self-hosting

Self-hosting is on the roadmap and currently in private preview. If you need to keep license data inside your own VPC, drop us a line at self-host@keystack.dev and we'll add you to the beta.

What you'll get

  • The Next.js dashboard and NestJS API as Docker images.
  • A Helm chart or a single docker compose file, whichever you prefer.
  • A Prisma migration runner.
  • Documentation on key rotation, backups and observability.

What you'll bring

  • Postgres 18 (we recommend Neon or self-managed RDS).
  • Redis 7.4 (Upstash, ElastiCache, or self-managed).
  • An SMTP provider (Resend, SES, Postmark).
  • A way to terminate TLS (we publish HTTPS-only).

Licensing

Self-hosting requires a Business plan or higher. You stay in control of your data; KeyStack stays in control of the source. There's no "open core" trap — every feature in the cloud is in the self-host build.
